Because the back of the brim is a soft cape, it won’t bump a backpack, allowing more freedom of movement. The front brim is 3.25” wide and can be bent back, if needed. The crown has two ventilation sections, and the sweatband wicks moisture away for greater comfort in the heat. You’ll love the soft fabric with UPF 50+ that is water and stain resistant. 88% Nylon, 12% Polyester Dobby. The hat packs down easily with a brim that can be folded, weighing only 2.6 ounces. Hand wash cold, do not bleach, line dry, do not iron or dry clean. The measurements when packing the hat flat are 14″x8.5″ (medium) or 14.25″x8″ (large).
