All WINGS leaders have varied interests in natural history and other more or less closely related fields, but the timing and itinerary of their trips are dictated almost entirely by ornithological considerations.
Heritage Expeditions
New Zealand's award winning Expedition Company was established in 1985 by NZ Wildlife Officer, Rodney Russ. They offer a boat trip to the Svalbard Archipelago in the High Arctic. Visitors to the region can witness enormous colonies of seabirds thronging the cliffs and shores.
Field Guides
Field Guides has been operating high-quality birding tours since 1985 from its headquarters in Austin, Texas. They offer tours to Arctic Canada (the Yukon to the Artic Ocean, Baffin Island, and Churchill).

Victor Emanuel Nature Tours (VENT)
Founded in 1974, it is now the largest company in the world specializing in birding tours. They offer tours to Arctic Norway; Bering Sea; Churchill, Manitoba; and Point Barrow, Alaska.
