A private site supported by health care practitioners with international health experience is easy to use and provides a wide range of health information including a store with a limited range of travel related products. A useful feature is the personal health clinic that allows you to enter your destination, specific activities, and health history and then gives you a personal health advisory.

The International Society of Travel Medicine maintains a list of travel clinics by country as does the American Society of Tropical Medicine
International Association for Medical Assistance to Travelers
is a not-for-profit organization that exists on contributions. The web site contains some useful travel information as illustrations of the material available by joining. The most sought after publication, which is not online, is their directory of English-speaking physicians who for modest fees will see members.

The British World Wise Directory gives information on each country to help you prepare and plan for safe travelling. It gives an overview of security conditions with links to the British Foreign Office travel advisories. It tells you about basic health, safety, visa and currency requirements as well as things you should know about local codes of dress and behavior as well as basic food hygiene, good means of transport, public holiday dates and essential contact points for help in each country if things go wrong.
